Sunrise Senior Living in the United States seeks a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer per physician orders and monitor for health changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
