Job description

Our clients don’t come to us because they need code. They come to us because they need someone who can understand their business, solve complex problems, and help them make smart technology decisions.

This role focuses on a variety of platforms across the wider CRM space. If you are looking for a Salesforce-specific role, please check out our open Salesforce position .

As a Technical Solution Lead, you’ll bridge the gap between business and technology, partnering with clients, Project Managers, and developers to design solutions that deliver real results.

You’ll serve as both a technical consultant and business analyst, translating client needs into scalable solutions, configuring and improving CRM systems and processes. You’ll directly engage with our nonprofit clients, providing expert guidance and support for their CRMs.

This is a full-time, fully remote position. You’ll be a great fit if you have CRM and technical expertise, strong business analysis skills, a proactive approach to client engagement, and a genuine desire to help clients make a difference. You should also be someone who enjoys learning in motion – the kind of person who doesn’t panic when they’re “building the boat while sailing it.” You’re comfortable being in front of a client while still learning, asking the right questions, following your instincts, and figuring things out as you go.

Technical Leadership: Enjoys heavy technical work andstrengthens the team by sharing knowledge, promoting technical excellence, and building solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and supportable.

Ownership & Professionalism: Takes ownership from discovery through delivery, following through on commitments, communicating proactively, and continuously improving the way we serve our clients.

Learning Agility: Embraces new technologies quickly, continuously expanding technical expertise to bring fresh ideas and practical solutions to clients and teammates.

Nonprofit CRM Systems: 3+ years of designing and delivering tailored solutions for nonprofit CRM platforms.

Consulting: 3+ years experience of working in a consulting environment

  • Solution Architecture: Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions that bridge business requirements with underlying technologies.

  • Data Modeling: Strong understanding of relational databases, data migration strategies, and complex data mapping between disparate systems.

  • Requirements Discovery: Experience leading technical scoping sessions, extracting complex requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into actionable technical plans.

  • Technical Documentation: Excellent ability to write clear, comprehensive documentation for both engineering teams and non-technical clients.

Preferred but not Required:

  • CRM Expertise: Experience developing, extending, or architecting solutions within nonprofit CRM platforms, with specific proficiency in CiviCRM and/or Neon CRM.
