Job summary

Metrc is seeking a Business Applications Engineer to design, implement, and optimize data integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems. Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in systems, integrations, or business applications.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
• Experience with integration platforms (Tray.io, Workato, MuleSoft).
• SQL or SOQL expertise.
• Knowledge of data models and cross-system relationships.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems.
• Define and manage data flows, transformations, visualizations, and synchronization across systems.
• Implement error handling, monitoring, and retry logic to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and identify root causes.
• Build and maintain Salesforce automations (Flows, validation rules, process logic).
• Support data model design and ensure alignment with integration requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requests into technical solutions.
