Job description

We're looking for

At the company, our mission is to decarbonize every home — technology is our primary lever. We are disrupting a massive industry still running on legacy systems and manual work. We build the intelligent software and automation that gives us a decisive edge, operating at a scale our competitors can't match.

You will report directly to the VP of Engineering and work closely with Software and Business Systems Engineers across the company's functions. This is a visible role with real impact.

If you enjoy this
  • You own the target-state architecture for our entire CRM and business-systems landscape: Salesforce (Sales, Service, Revenue Cloud, Field Service) and the surrounding stack — billing, telephony, automation/iPaaS, the data layer — and you drive the estate toward it
  • You advise on build-vs-buy and platform-fit decisions: when something belongs in Salesforce versus an adjacent tool or the company-built service, weighing maintainability, integration, and total cost of ownership
  • You shape our CRM data and integration architecture together with Software and Business Engineers — object model, data ownership and governance, event-driven and API-first integration
  • You set engineering standards for the CRM estate (version control, testing, CI/CD, release discipline) and champion engineering in code over click-configuration
  • You guide and enable the engineers around you through review, patterns, and teaching — not just delivering your own tickets
And recognise yourself here
  • Proven Salesforce architecture ownership across multiple clouds: Sales, Service, Revenue Cloud, Field Service — including the data model, security model, and large-org integration
  • You think beyond Salesforce: you know the CRM field well enough to say when another tool fits better, and you can name it — whether that's a different CRM, CPQ/billing, telephony, CDP, or integration tooling like n8n or Make
  • Fluent in integration and data architecture: event-driven and API-first design, data ownership and governance, ERP and billing coupling
  • Code-first: comfortable with SFDX, version control, and CI/CD for the CRM stack — not click-only
  • You think in total cost of ownership and long-term health of the estate, not just whether something can be built
  • You use AI tooling as a default part of how you work
  • Nice to have: Salesforce CTA, Application Architect, or System Architect credentials; field-service/dispatch or high-ticket B2C domain experience
What we have to offer
  • In this role, you can expect an attractive compensation package starting from €(Ammount)
  • Join a team of Product Managers, Software Engineers, Designers, Data and Salesforce people who are excellent in their craft and are happy to share their knowledge and help you grow alongside them
  • Our team is using the latest frameworks and is working with a modern tech stack to build powerful products for our customers, craftspeople, and internal teams
  • Boost your skills with a dedicated annual learning budget to spend on conferences, courses or books
  • Choose your own AI coding companion – we provide you with the license for the AI model or assistant of your choice
  • We offer a challenge with purpose - the better our tech, the more people will live climate-neutral and the better the world becomes for future generations
  • We offer a fantastic culture in the tech team and beyond
  • Modern office in the heart of Berlin
  • Work from home - up to 3 days a week
  • You receive an Urban Sports Club membership & nilo.health membership
  • You can lease a job bike or bring your dog one day/week
  • Corporate Benefits at more than 100 partners
  • 20% employer contribution to your pension and disability insurance
