About This Role
Possess a strong understanding of the Controls industry business flow, including product knowledge, field operations, financial understanding, and a customer satisfaction mindset. Assist in driving the financial performance of a portfolio of mission‑critical customers, monitor and improve the quality of turnkey installations and service deliverables, and represent ALC in all portfolio decisions affecting daily operations.
Job Description
- Plan, organize, and direct execution teams from an executive level to ensure portfolio revenue and margin plans are achieved
- Assist in presenting the bi‑weekly ALC Sync Meeting to clients, covering site issues, portfolio status, submittal progress, technical coordination, and project updates; create agenda and minutes
- Participate in the submittal internal review process when requested
- Maintain overall portfolio logistic schedule and review weekly with leadership to resolve delivery delays
- Assist in recognizing current supply chain risks from commodity suppliers with support from parts coordinator and panel fabricators
- Work with Senior Design Engineer to maintain the portfolio submittal log, tracking status, type, approval, and resource assignments
- Communicate project issues to the portfolio team and document them
- Assist in creating root cause analysis paperwork when required
- Manage CORA usage across the portfolio
- Review letters and documentation of project issues as assigned
- Review billings, collections, apply cash, and address rejected invoices
- Ensure transition of execution for all service delivery plans and owner‑direct installation work
- Establish revenue and manpower forecasts for quarterly management presentation
- Support customers in all aspects of the customer relationship
- Ensure all ALC organizational safety and ethics standards are met
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in HVAC controls industry OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls industry
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the workweek, including air travel, overnight stays, and unexpected travel when required (domestic and international)
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Project or Office 365 experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- OSHA 10 Certification
