Job summary

Hanley Energy, LLC in Ashburn, Virginia is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning of Critical Power Systems at customer sites. Travel across the IAD area is expected, with rapid restoration of failed equipment and clear communication with site teams.

Experience with electrical equipment maintenance, power electronics, reading schematics, and a proactive team approach is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with power systems applicable to critical power equipment.
• Experience in industrial or switchgear manufacturing environments.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of DC systems and electrical schematics.
• Valid driving license and ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair critical power systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and rapid restoration of equipment failures.
• Coordinate with site teams to complete tasks and document work.
• Read electrical schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Communicate effectively with departments and support teams.
• Occasional weekend on-call and late-shift work.
