Job summary

Hanley Energy, a global leader in power and energy efficiency, seeks a Field Service Technician to service and maintain critical power systems at customer sites across the Atlanta region. The role requires travel, electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics, with opportunities for emergency support during weekends or late shifts.

The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial or switchgear environments, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Familiarity with power electronics, electrical equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting is required.
• Prior experience in industrial or switchgear manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repair of Critical Power Systems at customer sites.
• Communicate effectively with site teams and provide emergency support during call outs and late shifts.
• Read electrical schematics and diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Coordinate tasks with site teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Document all work in computerized systems and report findings.
• Some weekend emergency calls and late shifts are possible.
