Alpine Power Systems is seeking a Critical Power Field Service Technician in Houston, TX. This hands-on, customer-facing role involves traveling to customer sites to evaluate, install, service and repair battery and critical power systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot UPS systems, read schematics, and document service activities with a strong focus on safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to evaluate equipment, identify service needs and provide solutions.
• Install, service, maintain, and repair battery and critical power systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on existing systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot battery systems, chargers, UPS systems and related critical power equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment layouts, drawings and schematics; follow technical documentation.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters and testing equipment.
• Complete required service documentation and reports accurately.
• Follow safety policies, procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach while working independently at customer sites.

We specialize in backup power systems, including batteries, UPS systems, generators, power equipment, and renewable energy solutions.We are currently seeking a Critical Power Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and providing reliable solutions in the field.Extensive Training & DevelopmentAt Alpine Power Systems, we invest in the development of our technicians. Our extensive training program combines classroom instruction with hands-on technical training in our dedicated training lab.
