Shoppa’s Material Handling in Texas is hiring a Stationary Battery Field Technician to assist in installing critical power systems for UPS, switchgear, and telecom projects. You will ensure projects meet IEEE and manufacturer specs and represent the company professionally on site.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of battery experience, and a strong safety record with LOTO and JHA procedures.

The Stationary Battery Field Technician will be responsible for assisting in the installation of critical power systems for UPS, switchgear, and telecommunications projects. Is responsible for completing projects on time and in accordance with IEEE and manufacturer specifications. This position will represent Viking Power and requires professionalism, great attitude, effective communication skills and outstanding customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Sitting, standing, and walking (up to continuously); frequent use of computer and telephone requiring repetitive finger, hand, and arm movement; occasionally carry office supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 50 pounds. Continuous use of seeing, hearing, verbal communication.
Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
