Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Critical Lift & Transport Engineer for Starbase, TX, to lead heavy-haul lifts of rocket stages and ground support equipment. You will design lift plans, perform capacity verifications, and ensure safety compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

You will collaborate with vehicle structures, manufacturing, launch ops, and logistics to optimize lift operations, review calculations, and support on-site execution with real-time problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with mechanical and structural hardware.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and execute critical lifts and heavy-haul transports for large-scale hardware.
• Develop lift plans, rigging designs, and transport configurations using CAD/FEA tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess mass properties, rigging locations, and load paths.
