Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Goleta, CA is seeking an Electrician 5 to support critical R&D laboratory operations. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair single- and three-phase electrical systems up to 480V, perform preventive maintenance, install conduit, and document activities in a CMMS.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting distribution systems, lighting, and motor controls up to 480V.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of NEC, Lockout/Tagout, and electrical safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems up to 480V in a critical lab setting.
• Perform preventive maintenance on distribution systems, lighting, and emergency power.
• Install conduit, pull wire, terminate circuits, and upgrades per NEC.
• Support critical power infrastructure including UPS and switchgear.
• Document maintenance activities in a CMMS and ensure safety compliance.
