Industry: Data Center Infrastructure, AI Infrastructure, Critical Power & Thermal Solutions

We are seeking a highly consultative Critical Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor to OEM customers and strategic partners deploying AI infrastructure across data centers and edge environments. This individual will bridge technical engineering teams and customer-facing sales organizations, helping design and position AI-ready infrastructure solutions focused on power, thermal management, racks, PDUs, and integrated rack solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing AI infrastructure team in a newly created role. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data center infrastructure with the executive presence and commercial acumen required to drive complex customer engagements with Server OEMs, hyperscalers, NeoCloud providers, channel partners, and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for OEM and enterprise customers evaluating AI infrastructure deployments.

  • Lead customer-facing technical discussions, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions focused on AI-ready data center environments.

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored infrastructure strategies.

  • Engage with CIOs, CTOs, IT leaders, facilities teams, and engineering organizations to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives.

  • Support strategic opportunities involving greenfield and brownfield AI data center deployments.

AI Infrastructure & Technical Consulting

  • Advise customers on:

  • Liquid cooling technologies

  • Thermal management solutions

  • High-density power distribution

  • Rack and PDU architecture

  • Edge AI infrastructure

  • Airflow optimization

  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design integrated AI infrastructure solutions.

  • Provide competitive positioning and differentiation against alternative infrastructure vendors.

OEM & Partner Enablement

  • Build relationships with Server OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, and related ecosystem partners.

  • Train sales teams, solution architects, and channel partners on AI infrastructure solutions and best practices.

  • Develop and deliver technical enablement and \"train-the-trainer\" programs.

  • Act as the liaison between engineering, product, and sales organizations.

  • Deliver Voice of Customer insights to product and engineering teams.

  • Track industry trends in AI, HPC, liquid cooling, and data center infrastructure.

  • Identify emerging customer requirements and competitive market opportunities.

  • Influence roadmap discussions based on customer feedback and market demand.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years of experience within the data center industry.

  • Experience working for or with Data center infrastructure manufacturers, Critical power providers, Thermal management vendors, or Server OEMs

  • Expertise in data center critical infrastructure such as liquid cooling infrastructure, integrated rack solutions, Rack PDUs, Rack thermal solutions, etc.

  • Experience with infrastructure vendors such as Vertiv, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Rittal, nVent, Legrand, STULZ, Munters, Motivair, or similar providers.

  • Experience designing or supporting AI/HPC deployments from an infrastructure, cooling, power, or rack perspective rather than solely server, storage, or networking architecture.

  • Strong customer-facing technical sales experience.

  • Ability to lead both executive and engineering-level conversations.

  • Experience supporting channel partners, integrators, and strategic alliances.

  • Familiarity with AI workloads, HPC environments, and edge deployments.

Ideal Background

The successful candidate will have experience supporting or selling critical infrastructure solutions for data centers, including thermal management, liquid cooling, rack systems, PDUs, busway, and high-density power environments.

Candidates coming from data center infrastructure manufacturers, OEM infrastructure groups, or critical power and cooling providers are strongly preferred.

Experience working with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, NVIDIA ecosystem partners, hyperscalers, NeoCloud providers, and enterprise data center operators is highly desirable.
