The Electrical Critical Facility Technician role requires deep electrical and mechanical knowledge, with experience in UPS, PDUs, generators, ATS, and BMS/EPMS. Candidates should be ready for security investigations and a heavy fieldwork pace. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with 8+ years in relevant settings, including 3+ years in critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or greater.
• 8+ years' work experience including 3+ years of direct experience in a critical facility operation (data center or hospital).
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with switchgear, generators, UPS or equivalent electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in electrical power (AC/DC) and mechanical systems; capable of installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with UPS, PDUs, standby generators and fuel systems, ATS, BMS and EPMS.
• Use various electrical testing equipment (multimeters, DLROs, infrared tools) for diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and blueprints.
