Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a leading global workforce solutions company, is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager in Odessa, TX to join the Facilities Operations team onsite. You will own the operation, maintenance, and reliability of mission-critical infrastructure to maximize uptime and operational excellence.

The role leads 5–10 engineers and technicians, oversees electrical power, UPS and generators, HVAC, BMS, fire and life safety, and security systems, and coordinates maintenance programs with vendors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • 10+ years of experience managing critical facilities, data centers, industrial plants, or other mission-critical environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems, UPS systems and generators, HVAC/chilled water systems, building automation, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and coordinating maintenance programs and vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation, maintenance, reliability, and performance of mission-critical infrastructure to maximize uptime.
  • Oversee day-to-day systems including electrical distribution, UPS and battery plants, standby generators, HVAC/cooling, BMS, fire/life safety, and security/access control.
  • Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, coordinate vendors and contractors, and drive root-cause analysis after incidents or outages.
  • Provide leadership for a team of 5-10 engineers and technicians, including staffing, on-call rotations, training, performance evaluations, and development.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point during critical events, coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts, and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.

Our client, mission-critical infrastructure and facilities operations organization is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to join their team.

As a Critical Facilities Manager, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting high-availability business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership and accountability, the ability to lead technical teams, and a proactive mindset for risk management and continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Odessa, TX (100% onsite)

Pay Range:$150,000 - $200,000, based on experience

What's the Job?
