Job summary

Mandatory FAA crew resource management training and CAMTS standards apply; candidates must stay calm under pressure with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Functional understanding of communications equipment, including telephones, radios, and recording systems.
• Knowledge of navigational terminology preferred.
• One year of EMS/911/aviation dispatch experience preferred, or equivalent hospital/911 experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming requests for routine and emergency air and ground transport.
• Manage rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and ground ambulance assets.
• Use CAD software to determine the closest resource and alert the team.
• Track asset progress throughout the mission and provide support.
• Field patient advisory reports for EMS units transporting patients.
• Field activation requests for emergency hospital alerts (stroke/STEMI/trauma).
