Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health’s SAGE Dublin unit is seeking an experienced Critical Care Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant for the Day Shift. You will work as the veterinarians’ right hand, delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment and supporting team growth.

The role requires 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience, a CA RVT license is preferred but not required, and a strong focus on client communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with staff and clients.
• CA state RVT license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for critical cases and monitor patients.
• Perform in-house laboratories and IV catheter placement.
• Calculate CRIs and provide advanced hospitalization care.
• Obtain vital signs and maintain accurate medical records.
• Deliver patient rounds and advocate for the patient and client.
• Maintain safe restraint for fractious patients and communicate with DVM.
• Support veterinarians and assist on critical care procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high standards of care.
