Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Transport Paramedic to deliver advanced life support and urgent transportation for sick or injured patients. You will operate within TMH EMS and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic trauma and emergency service environment.

Ideal candidates hold Florida Paramedic licensure, ACLS/BLS, EVOC, and related certifications. Position requires a valid 21+ driver’s license and a clean DMV record; some roles may require PALS/BTLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum: One (1) year paramedic experience or related experience.
• Licensed Florida Paramedic; State of Florida Class “E” Drivers License; ACLS and BLS certifications; HAZ-MAT Awareness; EVOC (16 hours).
• Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS).
• All Certifications/Licenses must be current as a condition of employment.
• Age 21+, two years of licensed driving experience; driving record checks per DMV requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced life support emergency care and transportation to the sick and/or injured.
• Reports to Transport Chief Paramedic/TMH EMS Medical Director.
• Supervises Transport EMT.
