Job summary

Edward Ambulance Services is seeking a CCT Paramedic to provide high-level care during transport under medical supervision. You will evaluate patients across all ages, collaborate with the care team, and ensure accurate documentation and safety during ground or helicopter transports.

The role requires ALS experience, CCT-P paramedic certification, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or PEPP and trauma certifications ITLS/PHTLS, with leadership potential and ongoing education encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ALS experience.
• CCT-P Paramedic certification required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP.
• Current Trauma Certifications: ITLS, PHTLS.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Further education within three months is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to patients in transport under direction of Medical Director.
• Autonomously evaluate critically ill or injured patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with team, drivers, leadership and other healthcare partners.
• Assess changes in patient status and proactively solve problems.
• Plan and position equipment for use in emergencies.
• Maintain complete records and participate in QA programs.
• Maintain competency in critical care procedures and equipment.
• Complete transports within the scheduled shift and beyond if needed.
• Participate in required education programs and maintain licenses.
