Qualifications

• WI Paramedic License is required.
• Critical Care Endorsement is required to be a Critical Care Paramedic.
• Driver's license with at least 2 years' experience and clean record.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification by American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Tech-savvy or comfortable with using technology.
• Able to work effectively on a team.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Must successfully complete a Physical Aptitude Test.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure top tier patient care.
• Work with a 24-hour clock schedule; shifts vary by operations.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, equipment functions, and state/city protocols for Paramedics.
• Conduct yourself in a courteous, professional manner with patients, coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge.
• Provide top tier medical transport to facilities, following policies and procedures as a Paramedic.
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and organizing space.
• Gather patient billing information and obtain signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to Dispatch Center assignments.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Paramedic Job Responsibilities

• Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all state and city protocols.
• Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities and hospitals by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures as a Paramedic.
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
• Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Other tasks as assigned

Paramedic Requirements

• WI Paramedic License
• To be a Critical Care Paramedic, you must have your Critical Care Endorsement
• Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
• BLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association
• ACLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association
• Excellent verbal communication skills
