Position

Critical Care Paramedic

Location

Must be available to work out of any of our station locations in Wisconsin: Madison, Sun Prairie, Middleton, Lake Mills, Janesville, Deerfield, and Fort Atkinson.

Employment Types & Shift Availability

Full Time and Part Time. Shifts: 24’s, 12’s and 10’s.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $27.50 - $31.63 for Paramedic; $28.75 - $33.06 for Critical Care Paramedic. Premium Day Shift rates: $30 - $34.13 for Paramedic; $32 - $36.31 for Critical Care Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow employees to ensure top tier patient care.
• Maintain flexibility for 24‑hour shift variations due to the nature of the business.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions, uses, and all certifications, licenses, and registrations as a Paramedic.
• Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co‑workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all state and city protocols.
• Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities and hospitals by assuming responsibility for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures as a Paramedic.
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
• Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre‑hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
• Perform physical tasks: lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more; must successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test.

Requirements

• WI Paramedic License.
• Critical Care Endorsement with Driver’s License (minimum of 2 years) and acceptable driving record.
• BLS and ACLS certification with American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Tech‑savvy or comfortable with using technology.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Respectful of colleagues, patients, and leadership.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 125 lbs.
• Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test.
