Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a Critical Care Technician to support the patient care team in Critical Care and Emergency Department settings. You will assist with vital signs, EKG duties, and patient transfers under supervision, ensuring timely communication and patient safety.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, high responsiveness in emergencies, and collaboration with RNs and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current C.N.A. Certification in state of practice.
• -OR-
• EMT or Paramedic Certification in state of practice.
• -OR-
• Medical Assistant (MA) Certification from an accredited program or with affiliation.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire.
• If Point of Care Testing, must have High School diploma or GED per CLIA.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient care needs by answering call lights and assisting with hygiene care.
• Performs 12-lead EKG duties and related tasks.
• Applies, checks, and documents restraints as directed by RN or physician.
• Assists with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges with safe handling.
• Orders and maintains office and patient care supplies and performs unit secretary duties.
