Job summary

Capital Health System, Inc. is seeking a compassionate patient care support professional to contribute to direct and indirect patient care. The role includes performing phlebotomy, glucometer testing and EKGs, while assisting licensed staff across shifts in a busy hospital environment.

The candidate will complete documentation, support clerical tasks, and help with supply stocking and unit safety. A high school diploma is required and CPR/BLS certification is mandatory; EMT or related experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with phlebotomy and EKG tasks preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required; CNA preferred or UAP training programme.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, glucometer testing and EKGs as required.
• Assist professional staff and deliver direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and unit records.
• Stock supplies and support unit operations.
• Ensure safety and infection control standards are followed.
