Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to provide safe, holistic care and education across the patient continuum. You will administer medications, follow standards of care, and continuously improve practices in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing or equivalent with 2 years of ICU experience and active Alabama nursing licensure. ACLS/BLS/PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire, NIHSS training as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.
• 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Alabama Board of Nursing License.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS within 90 days of hire.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Registration/License/Certification

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer date
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date
• PALS within 90 days of hire or transfer date
• NIHSS w/in 90 days of hire/transfer (EAH to assist with certification completion)
• Preferred Education
