Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a Critical Care Step Down Unit, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations including CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.

You will work with telemetry, EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures, while applying critical thinking, timely delegation, and teamwork with physicians, nursing assistants, interns, PT and OT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• PRN requires at least one year of RN experience and all certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards.
• Perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT.
