Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Step Down Unit in Ohio. The role focuses on patient-centered care for complex conditions and uses advanced monitoring and procedures to support critical patients.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. PRN roles require 1 year of RN experience; BSN and Magnet-recognized certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio with active BLS.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months if not already held.
• PRN roles require at least 1 year RN experience and all certifications at hire.
• BSN and Magnet-recognition certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technology including EKG interpretation, central line care, rescue Bi-Pap, high flow oxygen, and assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
• Engage in critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management while collaborating with healthcare team members such as PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT, and OT.
