Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Cleveland, OH. The unit handles congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis, with 24 beds and a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Expect bi-weekly 72-hour shifts, a rotating schedule, and access to advanced telemetry technology. The role emphasizes EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures, supported by a collaborative team including PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapy services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
