Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role involves caring for patients with conditions like CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis in a 24-bed CCSD unit with a 5:1 patient ratio.

The position features rotating shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) and rotating weekends/holidays. Eligible RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 based on experience; MetroHealth offers tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and comprehensive medical/dental

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT.
• Maintain a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in a medical-surgical setting.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
