Job summary

Riverside Health System in Gloucester, Virginia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care/Telemetry team. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients and supervise non-professional staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN degree, has 1 year of critical care experience (highly preferred), and maintains CPR/BLS with ACLS and PALS within required

Qualifications

• RN degree required.
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (highly preferred).
• Valid RN license in state (required).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS provider required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS provider required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop plan of care.
• Collaborate with families to implement and evaluate treatments.
• Educate patients and families, tailor education, and document discharge education.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure quality care and safety.
• Complete all clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards.
• Facilitate safe patient transitions and throughput.
