Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in a critical care/ED setting. Eligible candidates can receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation up to $10,000.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, document in the EMR, and collaborate with the care team. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, ED/CCU experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Current RN license (FL) and RN registration.
Associates degree in nursing required; bachelor’s preferred.
BLS certification mandatory.
Experience in critical care and ED preferred.
Proficiency with Cerner EMR is a plus.
Strong communication and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather health data.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
Administer medications and treatments per prescribed orders.
Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
Document care activities in the EMR accurately and timely.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff.
Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
