Job summary

HSHS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Critical Care setting in Shelbyville, IL. This PRN role requires active RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed, and ICU experience. The position offers pay between $32.00 and $48.30 per hour based on experience and credentials.

In this role you will care for our sickest patients, support families, and work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team across Illinois and Wisconsin facilities. Benefits and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in state of practice required.
• ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP required based on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

Skills

Critical Care Nursing experience

Education

Bachelor's of science in nursing (BSN) preferred

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

CCRN / CEN certifications preferred
