Qualifications

• RN licensure required by the PA Board.
• Temporary Practice Permit must sit for the NCLEX within 60 days of starting.
• BSN preferred; Magnet designated positions require BSN or higher.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed as a health care provider in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid.
• Graduate RN may practice under supervision during the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients from infancy to elderly.
• Coordinate with interprofessional health care team to plan and deliver care.
• Assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and professional practice standards.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
