Job summary

Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, OR is seeking a CCU Staff Nurse to provide direct care to critically ill patients in the Critical Care Unit. The role covers relief shifts, primarily nights, with 12-hour length, and demands acute assessment, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

An Oregon RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC and TNCC/TEAM are required or achievable within specified timelines; CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Oregon RN license (OSBN) required; current BLS; ACLS required soon after hire; PALS/ENPC within 6 months; TNCC/TEAM within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year of satisfactory acute care hospital experience.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs in CCU and develop nursing care plans; administer and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide supervision to other nursing staff and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
