Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH seeks a Registered Nurse for the MSICU/PCU. This part-time days position focuses on high-acuity medical-surgical critical care, including CRRT and USGPIV, with emphasis on teamwork and professional development.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, advanced care. Sign-on bonus and shift incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and nursing knowledge across the life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family. Documents ongoing assessment per unit/TriHealth guidelines.
• Plans care for patient and family based on assessment, standards and outcomes; develops goals and discharge planning.
• Delivers safe, holistic care while maintaining patient dignity and rights in a high-acuity setting.
• Recognizes emergent situations and takes appropriate action for timely interventions and safety.
• Communicates with physicians and health-care team to coordinate care and adjust plans as needed.
• Provides patient/family education and documents responses to care and teaching.
• Trains/educates staff and acts as an expert resource in the specialty area.
