Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate’s Degree minimum required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current OH RN License to practice in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements evaluates, revises, and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient with the healthcare team and family.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels of staff involved in the patient’s care.
• Gives clear instructions to patients/family and involves them in assessment and care.
• Addresses behavioral health needs and respects religious/cultural norms in care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, accountability, flexibility, and teamwork on the unit.
• Documents nursing process accurately and in line with hospital policy.
• Acts as a mentor for new personnel and float staff.
• Pursues personal and professional development and contributes to peers.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Associate’s Degree minimum required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
