Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care for day shift. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered critical care, guided by established practice models and governance.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years direct patient care, an accredited nursing diploma, and current RN licensure (Nurse Compact where applicable). BSN preferred; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree preferred.
• RN license (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (Instructor or Provisional).

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates care through partnerships and maintains patient-centered approaches.
• Upholds professional practice standards and promotes shared governance.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaborates with health care team to improve outcomes.
• Engages in performance improvement activities and supports evidence-based changes.
