Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Georgia RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or eligible for instructor roles.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Coordinates care through effective partnerships with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity and patient/family needs.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift reports, rounds and timely teaching to align goals with the plan of care.
• Practices using current clinical standards and contributes to ongoing quality and safety.
