Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care to join an interdisciplinary team ensuring high-quality, safe patient care. This role operates within the Wellstar Shared Governance Model and aligns with the Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • BSN preferred.
  • All certifications required upon hire: RN, BLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor or Provisional, PALS Instructor or Provisional.

Responsibilities

  • Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation; evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
  • Coordinates care through effective partnerships to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care considering cultural diversity.
  • Partners with patient and family via bedside shift reports, rounds, and patient education.
  • Practices using current clinical standards.

Education

Diploma from an accredited nursing program
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
