Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse – Critical Care to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, compassionate care in the United States. The role requires leadership in patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and adherence to professional standards.

The nurse will work under nurse managers within Wellstar’s governance model and is expected to uphold the voice of the patient while contributing to system-wide safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate care through partnerships to ensure individualized, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care accommodating cultural diversity and family involvement.
• Collaborate with patients, families and care teams, updating goals and teaching as needed.
• Support governance, continuous improvement, and adherence to policy and standards.
