Qualifications

• 2 years of consecutive recent ED and/or ICU experience within the last 5 years; training possible.
• Associates Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float to departments as assigned and ensure smooth handoffs without interruption of care.
• Perform routine assessments and follow the plan of care according to standards and guidelines.
• Formulate and adapt a care plan for individual patient needs and transitional care planning.
• Adapt educational content to patient and family, integrating education during care delivery.
• Ensure efficient delivery of care by prioritizing needs and solving problems.
• Make independent clinical decisions based on knowledge from education and experience.
