Job summary

NicklausHealth is seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN to plan and deliver care using the nursing process, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and provide family-centered care in a Magnet-designated environment.

The ideal candidate holds Florida RN licensure (or eNLC), BLS, PALS within two years, BSN preferred, and at least one year in pediatric ICU. You will participate in rounds, document in EHR, and support high-quality care while floating to units as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or eNLC.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required or within two years of hire.
• BSN preferred; ICU experience in pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission history and discharge planning per policy.
• Plan, implement and document the care plan with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide IV monitoring, specimen collection, and assist procedures.
• Administer medications per 5 rights and document administration.
• Participate in daily rounds and promote family-centered care.
• Document in EHR accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient safety and sedation monitoring per policy.
