Job summary

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital in Englewood, FL seeks a Critical Care Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. You will provide expert clinical care to critically ill patients and support families with medication and treatment instructions.

You’ll maintain patient records, post test results and administer medications as ordered, in a fast-paced environment. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse; active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire (if compact licensure).
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
