Job summary

St. Joseph's Health in Paterson, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care unit on a full-time 7:00 AM–7:30 PM Seton 6 South Stepdown schedule. The RN will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the Nursing Process on their assigned unit.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Successful completion of department specific orientation and department specific certifications of BLS and ACLS within one year of hire.
• Effective January 2019, certifications for BLS, ACLS and PALS to be granted through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within scope of practice.
• Support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on assigned unit.
