Capital Health seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse to support pulmonary and cardiac diagnostic testing. You will assess patients, monitor during procedures and sedation, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safety and accuracy of testing.

Role requires an Associate degree in nursing, minimum two years of critical care experience, and current RN licensure. Extensive certifications and ongoing education are required for assigned units.

Competenze

• Associates degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years critical care experience or training including cardiopulmonary assessment, IV insertion, cardioversion, and advance dysrhythmia recognition.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, Registered Nurse - NJ requires TNCC (or must obtain within 1 year of hire) and 8 hours of Trauma related Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) if assigned to specific units.
• Requires NIH Stroke Scale Certification (or must obtain by end of orientation) and 8 hours of Stroke related Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) if assigned to specific departments.
• Requires ACLS (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date) if assigned to multiple units.
• Requires PALS (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date) if assigned to certain ER and pediatric units.
• ENPC accepted in lieu of PALs for Adult ER knowledge and skills.
• Two or more years training in pulmonary and cardiac testing.

Mansioni

• Reviews medical history and records, addressing potential problems prior to testing.
• Performs nursing functions during procedures and assists physician.
• Monitors patient continuously and manages sedation according to protocols.
• Documents changes, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Discharges planning and patient/family education for post-procedure care.
• Collaborates with case manager to discuss alternatives to care when appropriate.
