Job summary

Florida Medical Center is a 459-bed acute care hospital delivering high-quality nursing care in its Critical Care Areas. The Registered Nurse provides professional and technical care in a fast-paced environment, adheres to licensing and regulatory guidelines, and collaborates with physicians and Patient Care Assistants to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Qualifications include current Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, basic arrhythmia skills, and strong English

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license.
• Education: Technical School/2 years college/Associates Degree.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Basic Arrhythmia Skills.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Computer Skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional and technical nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Areas.
• Adheres to licensing and regulatory guidelines including TJC, AHCA, OSHA, CMS, DCF.
• Assists in planning, supervising, and instructing Patient Care Assistants.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during treatments and examinations.
