Job summary

Kindred Hospital Louisville at Jewish Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care to critically ill adults using the nursing process from assessment to discharge planning. You will supervise care, coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and ensure patient education and safety.

Must have active RN licensure, ACLS certification, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting. Prior CCU/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky or multi-state license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in critical care/ICU preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per hospital policies and procedures.
• Assess patient on admission and coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and update patient care plans.
• Administer medications with proper rights and documentation.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR.
• Ensure patient education and discharge planning.
