Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements a plan of care with family-centered goals.
• Performs admission assessment and documents findings.
• Initiates care plans and discharge planning on admission.
• Explains nursing interventions and educates patient/family.
• Operates life support equipment and monitors patient status.
• Transcribes physician orders and documents medication administration.
• Responds to life-threatening situations per protocol.
• Performs central venous catheter care and EKG monitoring.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and records data.
