Grand Canyon University seeks Adjunct Clinical and Lab Nursing faculty for PRN work in Idaho (Boise/Meridian). The role includes traveling to student sites to observe performance during clinical rotations and labs.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with 3 graduate courses or national certification, 3+ years in Complex Care/Critical Care, and an MSN or higher preferred; active multi-state RN license, and strong communication to support accreditation and student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum: BSN with proof of at least 9 credits/3 classes in any graduate program OR approved national certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent work experience in Complex Care/Critical Care nursing with a BSN.
• Active, current multi-state RN license; drug and competency testing required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support accreditation and student progress.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach knowledge/skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty for evaluation and documentation of student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to Boise/Meridian student sites to observe performance during clinicals and labs.
