Brooke Army Medical Center is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to provide inpatient nursing services in support of a 24-hour, seven-day operation at Fort Sam Houston. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor for complications, and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include ADN or higher, ACEN/CCNE accreditation, an active RN license, BLS, ACLS/ALS certifications, and at least 1 year of recent

Qualifications

• RN license in any US state, DC, or US territory.
• BLS certification current and active.
• ACLS or ALS certification current and active.

Responsabilités

• Perform full range of professional nursing duties within scope of practice.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Operate critical-care equipment and respond to emergencies.
• Document in EMR and communicate with care team.
• Supervise licensed vocational nurses and support staff.

Connaissances

Critical care experience

RN experience within 2 years

BLS certified

ACLS/ALS certification

US citizenship eligible

Formation

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

ACEN/CCNE accredited program
