Kindred Hospital Dayton is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide safe and competent respiratory care across our inpatient units. The role includes monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality care for adults and geriatric patients.

You will document care, verify physician orders, and participate in ongoing education and training to uphold standards of care within a 24/7 hospital environment.

Formación

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to work under stress and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Team-oriented and cooperative with healthcare team.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver respiratory care procedures per department policies and protocols.
• Document and maintain respiratory care elements of the patient plan of care; ensure accurate charge capture.
• Verify and initiate physician orders; monitor devices and equipment; perform troubleshooting and disinfection.
• Manage oxygen delivery devices, non-invasive and invasive ventilation, and airway management.
• Perform ABG sampling, analysis, and quality control; provide patient and family education.
