Job summary

Pioneers Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care across hospital departments in Meeker, Colorado. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting to physicians.

The role requires an AMA-approved two-year program completion, NBRC passage, Colorado license, and current BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications, with hospital experience preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved two-year School for Respiratory Care.
• Passing NBRC examination.
• Active Colorado State License for respiratory care.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications (instructor licenses acceptable).
• Six months of hospital experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent delivery of respiratory care procedures per policy.
• Update patient profiles and report medical status.
• Maintain documentation of respiratory care services.
• Verify physician orders and document usage.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff and students.
• Participate in department meetings and rounds.
• Manage ventilator modalities and report care changes.
